Animal People sits at 2908 Rozzelles Ferry Road in Seversville, a couple of miles northwest of uptown. It’s a drop-off facility, not somewhere a dog comes along to something else, and the door rule is vaccines. The homepage publishes it in one sentence: “Each dog must have up-to-date Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper vaccines to enter our facility.” Records go through the Gingr parent portal at registration.
On breeds, the site is equally short. “Accepting All Dog Breeds.” No weight cap, no size limit, no restricted-breed list. There’s also no published spay/neuter rule and no minimum age, which facilities this size usually spell out. Whether a temperament evaluation happens before a first group day isn’t published — the day care page says only “Schedule a visit to tour our facilities and meet our team.”
The building runs 9,000 square feet, with “3 Large Outdoor Play Yards” and “3 Large Indoor Play Yards” alongside “50 Large Luxury Suites (4x4, 4x6, & 5x8).” Splash pads and pools are listed among the outdoor equipment, with no season attached. Staffing comes with a published number: “We like to have no more than 10 - 12 dogs per one staff member at all times.” So does the indoor-outdoor split. “Dogs within our facility spend 80-90% of the time outside and are only within their rooms for mealtime or rest if they need it.”
Money. Day care is $32 for a full day, $22 for a half. Monthly packages bring that down; twenty days a month works out to $25 a day. Boarding is $54 a night for one dog. Two sharing a room is $108, three is $162. First day of day care is free for new customers.
Hours post as “Everyday: 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM,” holidays excepted. After that it’s $15 for a late pickup, and 8 p.m. is the wall: dogs still there stay the night and go home at 7 a.m. Several directories list a shorter weekend window, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., which the site’s own pages contradict.
