Bubbly Paws sits at 141 New Bern Street, a few minutes’ walk from the New Bern station on the Blue Line. Dogs go inside here. That’s the premise: a self-service dog wash and a full-service grooming salon in one storefront.

The company’s self-service page lists what comes with a tub — aprons, plush towels, grooming brushes, cologne, ear cleaner, toothbrushes, house shampoo and conditioner, and access to professional dryers. Same page, on scheduling: “No reservations required, just stop in!” The last bath starts an hour before closing.

One requirement is published chain-wide. The grooming policies page states that “All dogs must be up to date on their rabies vaccination. Some locations may have additional vaccine requirements—please contact your local store for more details.” Whether the Charlotte store adds anything to that list isn’t published.

Here’s the wrinkle. bubblypaws.com/charlotte returns a 404. The company’s locations index still carries the store, with this address and this phone number, but the page that would hold Charlotte’s hours and prices is gone. Bubbly Paws sets self-service pricing per location, so there’s no chain-wide number to fall back on. Third-party listings show the store active into July 2026, and the 2023 grand-opening post is still live on the company blog. The gap is the store page, not the store.

Leash rules inside the shop and water bowls aren’t published one way or the other. The county ordinance, Sec. 3-71, requires physical restraint anywhere off your own property, which covers the sidewalk and the lot if not the tub itself.

A separate business called Bubbly Pups grooms dogs at 8910 South Tryon Street, about eight miles south. Different company, nearly identical name.

Skiptown, the indoor-outdoor dog park and bar, is roughly a mile north on Hawkins Street.
